NADINA
OWNER & OPERATOR - STYLIST
Experience: 14+ years
Our highly trained owner specializes in razor haircuts as well as curly hair. Nadina graduated from Marvel School in 2006 but has been doing hair with Glynis her mother since she was 12 years old. Nadina does it all, perm's, relaxer's, Updo's, men and women's hair cuts, coloring and foils. She is a family oriented women who instills her passion into every aspect of her work.
ALAINA
OWNER & OPERATOR - ESTHETICIAN
Experience: 18+ years
Alaina is a dedicated esthetician of 18 years. She is the former educator for our Bio Sculpture Gel Nails and she loves every aspect of her profession.
Alaina takes extreme pride in the work that she does and goes out of her way to make every single clients’ experience in the salon from waxing to facials a fun and relaxing one.
Alaina Calverley is also our certified trainer and technician at Scizzorhands, she has been microblading since 2014, instructing since 2015 and has a passion for microblading that shows in the quality of her work over the years that she has been providing this service to our client.
GLYNIS
Founder
Experience: 21+ years
Our founder, Glynis opened the salon doors in 1993 with hopes to emphasize natural beauty. She was involved with many organizations, promoting and developing her business skills to best serve her client’s needs.
DAVID M.
SENIOR STYLIST
Experience: 21+ years
David began his career in the beauty industry in 1993 and is a certified member of the College Of Trades. David has been part of the Scizzorhands’ team for 6 years. David loves giving back to the community and has supported several charity benefits & fundraisers over the past 30 years. David ensures that every aspect of his client’s visit is perfect, from start to finish.

HAIRSTYLIST
Experience: 9+ years
Brittany started her career in 2009 and embraces the every-changing nature of the beauty-industry. She loves to keep her skills up-to-date, often taking additional classes in coloring and cutting. She has been with Scizzorhands since 2014 and loves every part of her job. With a love for local businesses, hockey, and tattoos.
MICHELLE
RECEPTIONIST
Our Scizzorhands receptionist, Michelle, is the first person to greet you when you come into the salon. She joined the Scizzorhands team in 2019, bringing her upbeat personality and a passion for administration. She can also be found managing our social media.
